3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lemony yeasty earthy aroma. Flavor is lemongrass and Belgian yeast, with some slight sweetness. Light bubbly carbonation. A step above redemption, smooth and balanced, a good almost saison like beer without the funkiness of some saisons (this isn't a saison, but it has many saison qualities). Not as good as Russian River sours but a worthy beer.

Tasted from draft. Pours a mostly clear light gold with white head and good lacing. Aroma of banana, lemon, peach, spices, yeast. Taste is incredibly smooth with similar taste to nose. Lot of spices with belgian yeast. Citrus hops flavors and malty sweet backbone. Well balanced and medium bodied. Very well done.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice hazy yellow color. Just the right amount of carbonation, with some alcohol in the finish. Taste and aroma were solid but taste was a bit blander than it could have been.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
375 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled on 01/15/14. Pours a clear light golden yellow with three fingers of off-white head. Light lacing. Aromas of yeast, lemon/lime, banana, herbs and spices. Tastes of banana, Belgian yeast, esters, lemon lime citrus, tropical fruit, herbs and spices, a bit of pear. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Medium-low carbonation. Very nice.
Did a 9/4/12 bottle side by side after the 1/15/14 bottle. Aged quite nicely. Not a big difference, maybe a little tartness and a bit more lemon/lime.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours cloudy light gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is light citrus with cereal malts. Somewhat floral notes with some telltale belgian yeast notes. Taste is light and smooth. So easily quaffable. Light honey and citrus zest. Light malt profile and a slight dry palate in the end. Wish this was closer to me so that I could have it more often.
