jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Oct 22, 2007 From tap poured a ambercolor with a fair amount of head. Flavor of a malty abbey ale with a smooth lingering aftertaste. yobdoog (1420), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Oct 17, 2007 Bottle is pretty bubbly and has a small head. Aroma of spice and light pale malts. Taste is a bit sweet with balanced bitter and sout notes. Some fruityness but it is pretty light. Overall nice brew. bp (451), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 6, 2007 Draft at Tria in Philly: hazy golden color, sweet aroma, taste was a bit sweet/sour, light mouthfeel. Not bad bad but the fact that I had only one of these when RR is damn hard to come by in PA says something. acertain (249), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 17, 2007 Pours a light gold with a small but persistant white head. Nice fruity aromas and flavors, with definite malt presence. Very smooth indeed. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 14, 2007 On Tap at the brewpub
Pale hazy light yellow.
Nice soft Belgian aroma and a fairly sweet funky Belgian yeaty flavor. an interesting ABV sting at the end AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Sep 11, 2007 Updated: Sep 18, 2008On tap @ the brewery. Pours a hazy orange shade. Subtle malt and hops balance well, but it lacked flavor. It was a bit bland, but not a bad beer. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 11, 2007 Batch 009
Pours a slightly hazed gold with a white head. Yeasty nose - like a beautiful Belgian Pale is supposed to smell. Flavor is mild and smooth. Starts off mellow and sweet with a different than usual alcohol flavor to it. On the end I get an earthy flavor - no doubt from the yeast. Feel is slightly bubbly. Extremely drinkable.
masonjer (557), Holt, Michigan, USA Sep 11, 2007 Poured a golden color into the glass with a small white head. Smelled of light fruit, apple, pear, candi sugar. taste was slight funk, belgian candi sugar, coming together with a nice dry finish. Very drinkable yet tasty.
