Pours a creamy fingernail of white head over an effervescent lager-gold body. Tight webbings of lace. Nose is pepper and estery wheat. Tastes are similar with a hint of citrus and vanilla, more banana, biscuits, and clove. High carbonation and medium/full body. Rounded and smooth mouthfeel in the finish with flavors of crisp green apple. Very drinkable. Not as memorable as most other RR brews. Nonetheless, if Hell’s beer is like this, I need to commit more crimes in this life. jeremytoni (1081), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

Taste is a bit sweet with balanced bitter and sout notes. Some fruityness but it is pretty light. Overall nice brew. bp (455), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Draft at Tria in Philly: hazy golden color, sweet aroma, taste was a bit sweet/sour, light mouthfeel. Not bad bad but the fact that I had only one of these when RR is damn hard to come by in PA says something. acertain (249), Seattle, Washington, USA

Subtle malt and hops balance well, but it lacked flavor. It was a bit bland, but not a bad beer. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Pours a slightly hazed gold with a white head. Yeasty nose - like a beautiful Belgian Pale is supposed to smell. Flavor is mild and smooth. Starts off mellow and sweet with a different than usual alcohol flavor to it. On the end I get an earthy flavor - no doubt from the yeast. Feel is slightly bubbly. Extremely drinkable.
