rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Oct 1, 2006 (Stockholm Beer Festival 2006) Orange/golden, white head. Hoppy, citric aroma with banana notes. Hops and banana mixed in flavor, sweeter fruits and a bit earthy. Stronger bitter notes in the finish. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2006 GABF 06. Hazy light golden. Lively carbonation. Aroma of fruits, apples, pears as well as earthy yeast. Taste is the same with a dry and tart finish. very good. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 28, 2006 Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival. pours out in a hazy golden colour with a medium-sized white head. Concentrades and harmounius aroma of fruity esters of åears, Seville oranges, mild flowers and spices- Full and well-balanced flavour of pears, mild banana esters, fresh oranges, lime and earth with a harmounius aftertaste of yellow plums, candied pears, earth and spices. Great! patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 21, 2006 tap at the brewpub - Things started looking up at RR when I got to this ale. Pours up golden with a nice head. The aroma is fairly light with some malt and flowery notes. The flavor is actually not as sweet as I expected, but has the malt and candi sugar, along with some mild citrus and spice notes. There’s a touch of alcohol in the finish. kmweaver (2398), Sebastopol, California, USA Sep 14, 2006 Pours an enticing golden-yellow in the glass; short white head with good lacing. Shows a slight amount of lemon and banana in the nose; some spice. Pleasant up-front carbonation, Champagne-like bubbles, pepper, plenty of spice, honey and some banana - but spices are most prominent, approaching the profile of a tripel. Medium finish, ending peppery. ccoalier (13), USA Sep 13, 2006 A fantastic replica of a strong belgium amber ale. i love this beer. its only drawback is its light body and its abrupt end. a great but subtle taste of citrus black95tt (82), Doylestown, Ohio, USA Sep 12, 2006 Bottle. Thanks to realale420. Pours a heady golden color. Lots of lingering frothy goodness. Aroma is sweet, earthy, flowery and spicy. Flavor is very much the same with notes of banana clove and some spice followed by bready malts. A real nice balance to this beer. Not my favorite style, but a damn good example. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Sep 10, 2006 On tap. Dark golden coloured with a medium sized head. Very sweet and malty. Notes of lemon, peach and slightly bready. Also a bit alcoholic.
