3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Prufrockstar (200) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 11, 2013Bottle. Hazy golden color, foamy white head, great retention. Aroma: banana bubble gum and cloves, citrus, grass, white wine. Peach? Fruity and floral. Taste: subdued sweetness quickly gives way to moderate bitterness. Flavor lingers nicely, but is surprisingly dry. palate: medium+ body, lively caronation, smooth, pleasantly mouthoverall-coating. Overall: well-crafted as one would expect from Russian river. Personally, though, I'd like this to be a touch sweeter, which is what I recollect from the draft version last time I had this.

This beer opens with an exciting pop of the cork reminiscent if opening a bottle of champagne. It has an aroma of apple. It has a clean not bitter flavor with notes if banana. It is very crisp but distinct in its flavor. A very good golden colored ale satisfies with its full flavor.

375 ml bottle from Campus West. Gold, pale and cloudy with a nice white head and patchy lacing. The aroma is fruity (bananas, pears, light citrus), earthy, Belgian yeast, bready malts and spices. Similar flavor, smooth, lightly bitter and crisp with some carbonation. Medium body with a clean feel and a lingering, dry, fruity finish. Easy to drink, the ABV is hidden well. Nice.

Attractive clear straw colour. A fairly unassuming Belgian ale; yeast flavor is the main attraction, but it’s not overpowering. Fairly light body, very sippable.

Palate: Medium bodied with full carbonation.
Overall: nice complexity - it really evolves as it warms up.
