Tangy aroma - beets, beef bullion, and a toasty caramel malt. Lots of puckery tannin-y flavors along with rhubarb in the flavor. Basic cookie malt underneath, finishes with musty hop leaf and bark. An interesting set of flavors in this guy but they’re not working for me. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

Tastes like orange peels with a side of yeast. Not a great beer, could be one of the worst I had at the pizza port belgian fest. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Hazy, pale yellow like a Belgian white. Nice lace. Very nice, fruity, wheaty, banana, effervescent. At only 7%, this was more like a Belgian White than a Belgian Strong. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA

This has gone from terrible to terribly amazing. Love this new batch -- sparkling golden, citric twang, bright, bits of tobacco, aggressive and full bodied -- round and lightly creamy, slightly slick. Love the yeast components. Can't wait for the brewery to open. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Golden colored pour, looks very similar to duvel. Smell is lemons, spices, yeast, citrus, and some hops. Taste is rich and flavorfull, full of coriander and fruits. Pretty damn good actaully, the first american brewer to get the beligan style beers right since allagash got it going several years ago. nice beer, too bad its not around these parts. Nose of apricot, orange peel, corriander, earthy yeast and pepper. The flavour was sweet malts, pear and a light citrusy touch. Subtle and enjoyable. theisti (1700), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Pour is almost clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is earthy Belgian yeast with not much else. Taste is very smooth an drinkable, a nice light body that picks up depth as it warms. Very nice finish, clipped and clean. BuckeyeBoy (1699), Boise, Idaho, USA
