Aroma is faintly fruity, with slight pear overtones. Flavor is much more mild than I was anticipating. The entire profile of the beer is understated, including the fruit aspects. Very balanced finish, with a bit of hop to it. Very nice. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

Flavor is juicy fruit - banana and pear, initially soft and then a bit tart. Not as bready as most Belgians. Finish is dry and a bit astringent, somewhat citrus like hops. Medium bodied, very fizzy carbonation. This is a damn fine beer. egajdzis (3645), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Golden colored pour, looks very similar to duvel. Smell is lemons, spices, yeast, citrus, and some hops. Taste is rich and flavorfull, full of coriander and fruits. Pretty damn good actaully, the first american brewer to get the beligan style beers right since allagash got it going several years ago. nice beer, too bad its not around these parts.
