| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 11, 2006 Big bottle with champagne cork. Clear, deep golden colour with a big head. Yeasty aroma with a solid dose of banana and alcohol. Sweet, warm alcohol, banana flavour, dry, yeasty and bitter finish. Full-bodied, medium carbonation. A nice interpretation of a Belgian Golden Ale (but on the way the banana flavours make you think you have ended up in Bavaria). Still a beer full of character.
