3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A - pours very filtered orange amber, almost bronze. Has very high stiff long lasting head that clings to the glass like nobodies business. S - citrus and soapy hops up front. Grass and musty alfalfa come into play, bready malts and hint of pine. M - medium bodied brew with lively carb. Bitter up front to a lingering sweet end. T - sweet tropical fruits, soap, citrus and grassy hops up front. Wet and fresh cut alfalfa, hint of pine, bready malts. Tropical fruit hints and caramel malts as well. O - very good English ale. Nice rounded mellowed hops and quiet malts. Very fresh and wet. Drinkable and subtle. 3.4

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
If this is indeed an English style pale, it’s one of the best. Fantastic balance between light caramel malt and bread, and a slightly sweet, spicy floral hop presence. Great sipper, or summer quencher. That’s hard to pull off

Fad: Taster og pint på brewpub. Orange klar øl med fint skumhoved. Flot duft af blomster og engelsk humle. Frisk og fungerer upåklageligt. Smagen er igen blomstret og let græsset engelsk humle. Dejlig øl.

On tap @ Russian River. A bit hazy golden appearance with a white head. Aroma is pretty herbaceous and green. Slightly woody. A bit of fruit. Fairly dry and moderately bitter. Chewy grassy / woody flavor. Ok but not exactly my thing.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, pale malts, light toffee notes, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer but I had it after Pliny so my palate may be off.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewpub. It pours a deep golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is sweet and lightly herbal with some citrus. The flavor has more toasted malts than any of their other hoppy styles with a mild citric tang and some herbal, floral and grapefruit hop notes. The finish has strong piney bitterness. Very drinkable.
