Sampled at GABF. Pours a clear, bright purple with some thin pink head. Big raspberry nose, fruity, musty, earthy, jammy. Flavor is sweet, earthy, berry jam, bitter greens, lemon, raspberry. Full bodied, tart, lightly acidic finish. Good, but lacks the complexity of some of their other sours.

2012. Very nice one here. Dray, tart, and such good raspberry. I feel like throwing raspberry into Temptation couldn’t have produced something poor.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2012 Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Bright ruby color with a medium pinkish-white head and spotty lace. Aroma of citrus and raspberries. Medium body with a tart berry character and notes of malt and oak. The finish is slightly funky with a raspberry aftertaste. Solid all around.

Bottle @ home during my #5,000 tick fest, courtesy of a friendly trader. Pours a fairly clear, reddish violet appearance with a fading off white head. Sweaty sock, very rich raspberry, vanilla, lightly woody, spicy seedy nose. Super tangy, rich, seedy berry, rich raspbeery, somewhat burningly sour, pineapple, sweet berry flavor. Some vanilla, some vanilla but a lot of acidic sourness going on. Overall, super nice brew. Quite good but it wasn’t as good as Temptation + Raspberries as I expected. Glad to open it for #5,000.

Tap @ Russian River. I really screwed up this year. I was there the day BEFORE, and the day AFTER bottles were available. At least I got to try it. Pours hazy red with a small pink head and some lacing. Aroma is raspberry dominated, with light tart notes and a bit of yeast. Flavor is also raspberry, sweet tarts, lemon, a bit of funk, and light wood notes. Body is medium, carbonation is low.

Candy red, clear, little foam. Smells like raspberry flowers. Initial sour bite, raspberry flavor, cheesiness in the end.

On tap at Monk’s. Pours bright ruby red with a small pinkish head that fizzes away pretty quickly to leave some blebs of lacing. Aromas of sweet and tart raspberry puree with seeds, wet hay and some funk, and oak. Moderately tart, with huge raspberry flavor, oak, and some barn and funk present. Prickly carbonation, insanely drinkable, very refreshing. Delicious.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2012 On tap at Monks for the ridic russian river event. Pours a slightly hazy cranberry pinkish red, small white head, lots of sporadic lacing was left behind. Notes of oak, raspeberry, vinegar, spice, wine(chardonay), tart fruits and funky yeasts. A lot more refreshing then the bottles of batch 1 and 2. Also lighter bodied, has a nice refreshing finish and aftertaste. Not as puckery as I remember but that makes sense being on draft and relatively young. Excellent

Bottle split with Simon on Mothers day. I was pumped to try this beauty, I have had a sample of the original batch at a bottleshare but did not take any tasting notes. This one poured an ultra bright and vibrant thai nipple red according to Simon. Aromas of gueze, raspberry, flowers, soaked wood, sour cherry lambic, chardonay from the Temptation. Taste was a rich raspberry and cherry soaked funky lactic barnyard sour with dark grapes, leather, peach, cherry, cheddar, and oak. Magnificent beeer from RR.
