Hopped-Up Blonde Ale, 5.4%ABV
Not really a Blonde Ale, not a Pale Ale, not an IPA. Happy Hops is a light colored refreshing ale with a pronounced hop character from the experimental 369 variety (Mosaic).

You may also see a special version of this beer once a year called Happy Hops Harvest, which is brewed with fresh "wet" hops grown locally. Available year round

Growler pour. Interesting beer. Very hoppy aroma, but very subtle bitterness. I didn’t get much from the malt either. Definitely hop-heavy. Very smooth, easy drinking. Not my favorite RR beer, but still pretty good.

Draft to pint at the brewpub. This batch is 5.50% abv. Looks good; a transparent golden orange with foamy white head. Smells and tastes of bitter and fruity hops with a moderately bittersweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and on the drier side. Good beer.

This poured a lighter golden color with a white head. Aroma was of tropical fruity and citrusy hops. Not much malt there. Flavor was almost pils like malt with a light zero bitter fruity hop finish. Crushable.
