Had on tap at RR brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow/white with a nice hop flavor which complements the wheat very well. A bit lacking in citrus, but nice carbonation and easy to drink. A very refreshing wheat.

Draught at Russian River Brewery. Creamy yellow, cloudy, pastel color, with lace. Dry nose of orange and coriander, wheat. Rather dry wheat flavor with orange peel and coriander. Slightly hoppy, nice dryness.

On tap at Russian River. Hazy yellow with white head. Musty aroma, bananas, slightly spicy, nutty. Average carbonation, light mouthfeel, mild sweetness with a decent finish. Ok.

A - Served a super cloudy orange-yellow color with a finger of creamy white head atop. The head faded fairly quickly leaving behind some nice lacing on the glass. S - The aroma is a mix of light citrus fruits and some malt and yeast. There is also some banana and some wheat mixed in as well. T - Starts off with a mix of citrus fruits and yeast and light spices. There is also just a bit of banana flavor in the background from the yeast. Through the middle, the yeast and the banana flavors get a bit stronger with some wheat flavor coming through. The finish is a mix of spices, citrus, and yeast that linger nicely. M - Medium-light bodied with moderate-heavy carbonation. Feels really lively and crisp on the tongue. The finish is just a bit dry and fairly clean. D - Very drinkable. The flavor profile is remarkably well balanced from start to end really showcasing all of the best elements of a Witbier.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma of spice and belgian fruity yeasts. The beer is a nice golden light yellow with a white head. Taste is pure witbier....great spice, great hops and great yeastiness. A nice version of the style, which is generally not my favorite Belgian. This is very drinkable at at the 5.5 ABV, very sessionable. Palate is medium body with lively carbonation. Overall, a must try.

On tap at RR. Witbier ain’t my bag, and neither is White Lie. Flavors of orange peel and spices.
