Shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike. The beer is transparent and golden yellow with a white head. The aroma offers floral scents, yeast, malt, citrus, hops, light spice. Dank hops and floral notes take center stage. Light in body with moderate carbonation and lingering citrus. Refreshing and easy drinking. Another solid beer from Russian River. A - pours hazy golden straw with high tight bubbled head , that leaves some lacing. S - strong funk and hop aromas up front. Notes of citrus, oranges perhaps and cloves. Floral hints and a bit of dough. M - high carbed light bodied brew. Nice mellow saison. Lingering quiet bitter funk. T - nice funk/ barnyard hay, wheat, light citrus up front. Dough and drier bitter grapefruit on the palate. Notes of cloves and dough as well. O - nice but simplistic lighter saison 6+

Tap at the brewery-June 2012-pours hazy yellow with a small soapy whiete head with some lacing. WOW-crazy spruicy nose (noble hops) and yeast twang (wild?) Flavors are lite spicy dry noble hops bitterness-lots of dry citrus on the finish. What a flavorful little beer here! Another outstanding "lite" beer here. long grassy notes on the finish. love the lite palate here-lots of character yet can easily be sessioned. Fantastic experiment!

Growler thanks to hannont for sharing... A golden, hazy pour with a white head. This was a nice, to par for the style, saison. Citrus, grassy, earthy, rustic, floral, perfume-like, lemon zest, and nice hop flavors. Noticeable yeast spice and esters and other tropical-like fruits.

On draft at the brewpub. It pours a cloudy yellow/orange color with a pillowy white head. The aroma has tangerines and orange with a bit of bread. The flavor is the same with big citrus rind, light notes of pepper and an earthy, modestly funky yeast quality. The finish is lightly bitter with hints of pepper. Pretty dry and light on the palate. It has a little it of a soapy, floral aftertaste.

Tap at RR Brewpub. Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is softly spicy and a little bit fruity. Some light sweet pale malt and a little bit of hay character. Some light white pepper flavour and a touch of yeasty spice.

Big thanks to daysinthewake for getting this growler out to me. Served in a Russian River TION goblet. Pours a clear straw-golden color with a nice white head. The nose has a touch of light pilsner malt plus a really nice bouquet of floral and slightly-spice hops. Some perfume. Light fruity notes. Really excellent. Very light. Flavor is likewise extremely well integrated and light on the palate. Extremely easy to drink. Light body and a dry finish. Excellent. Would love to have this year round.

Sample from a growler. Aroma has significant barnyard, dry, funky saison notes. Really nice. Nice crackery nose with some light esters. Transparent golden body with a medium white head present. Starts a little spicy before this becomes lightly fruity, estery with mild banana hints. Very refreshing. Light, dry, herbal bitterness to finish. Very nice and sessionable. A really good brew.
