COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wouldn't it suck to have a job where nobody likes you? And, regardless of your name, people always call you Rita, as in "Lovely Rita?" Sometimes people just shorten it to the simpler "meter maid." The funny thing about that is the Webster dictionary defines a "meter maid" as "a female member of a police department who is assigned to write tickets for parking violations." You have to wonder how the male "meter maids" feel about that! Parking Violation is an American style pale ale using lots of American hops, lots of quarters, and several trips back and forth to the parking lot. So, remember to drink responsibly and feed your meter.

Tap slightly hazy dark golden color with a moderate pillowy white head. Nose is actually quite hoppy - there are some nice floral elements to it that really come through. Taste isn’t too bitter, but has a nice hoppy floral taste to it. Very easy drink.

A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off. Not up to par with what i expect form RR. pretty bland, not a defined hop profile. wish i had ordered something else at the bar.

Sampled at Russian River in Santa Rosa. Pours a light honey amber - this is a standard, fairly mild pale, with a perfect balance. Really tasty.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2010 Huge thanks to Alex (Masterski) for bringing this one over to our Friday random beer tasting. Split several ways amongst friends into nonic glasses. Love the RR growler! A - Pours golden yellowish with a couple of fingers worth of white head. Lots of sticky lacing and the head remains on top of the beer for quite some time. Just a beautiful looking APA. S - Hops, citrus, lemon/lime, light malts. T - The light malt character makes this one easy to drink, just goes down so easily. Lots of hops, citrus, lemon/lime. Light bitterness but done perfectly for an APA. M - Light, crisp, super-refreshing, good carbonation. D - I really enjoyed this one. Quite possibly my favorite APA of all-time. RR always does it right (for the most part) and I wish they were right around the corner from me. Thanks again goes to Alex through Adam for the growler!

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. A full bitterness, full flavoured APA. Golden colour and lacey.

Growler from alex. Thanks man... Pours a hazy apple cider brown with a medium soapy white head... Grassy mellow citrusy hop, pretty tame... Flavors are a quaffable earthy citrus component without much of a bitterness. Drinkable but not as memorable. A really nice palate cleanser nonetheless. Non-obtrusive and easily imbibed.

Appearance: Pours a clear copper with a modest white head. Aroma: Couldn’t discern much of anything in the nose. Maybe a little pale malt. Taste: Soap, metallic hops and a little bit of sweetness. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied medium carb. Overall: Didn’t dig it.

On tap at the brewpub. The look is clear, golden in color, with a decent white colored head. The smel is citrus, caramel, bitterness, and earth. Good aroma. The taste is light bitterness, pine, caramel, and hops.

Draft @ Russian River. Pours a clear, bright effervescent orange color; fluffy white head with great retention and lacing. Loads of clean, fresh earthy bitterness in the aroma, with a touch of candy sugar beneath; refreshing. Hugely drinkable pale ale: juicy orange and earthy bitterness, minimal astringency, perfect levels of carbonation, and just incredibly juicy and generous and crisply drinkable; excellent, excellent rendition. Lasting finish: toasty breadiness, some honey; nicely dry and mineral bitterness at the far end.

Clear golden with a fluffy white head. Good sweet caramel and grapefruit aroma and taste with a crisp dry sweet grass finish. Good.
