Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks good; a transparent pale copper with foamy off-white head with fine bubbles in it. Smells malty with notes of biscuit alongside some nuttiness and a touch of earthiness. Tastes like it smells with a semi-sweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Not bad, but unmemorable.

Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma and taste of big Belgian esters and a sweet malty backbone, but still pretty light. Not bad, nothing exciting.
