4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This bottle is the same as the other bottles Iíve had in NZ. And I think it is unbelievable... here is why:
It has so much drinkability. I can appreciate the lovely Caramel notes in there... the peaches, passionfruit and pine on the nose: they are all so obvious. There is so much balance on the palate. The flavour follows through perfectly - there are no hidden suprises... no even with bitterness. Itís not too think, not too thin, not too sweet and not too dry.
It is perfection in a pint

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: Bottled on "100614", so presumably about 3.5 months old then. Orange golden, clear. Small bubbles. Some creamy white head.
Aroma: Hops and fruit.
Taste: Lots of hops, but not overpowering. Light fruits in there. Hides alcohol. Good, but not my favourite style.
Bought: Trade with Gregory - thanks!, 510 ml

Very accessable for a heavy ipa like this, little alcohol kick. But still soft.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thanks to my parents for bringing home a couple of these. Pours a clear, slightly carbonated golden with a big, frothy, full white head that settles very slowly. A potent aroma consists of plenty of pine and and grapefruit, along with grassy hops and resin. The taste is a bit drier with quite a bit of bitterness to it. Pine and grapefruit remain dominant. There are tropical hints of pineapple, orange, and apricot in here, along with some malty caramel. The aftertaste is a long resiny grapefruit. IPA in the world Medium to full in body, sticky in texture, and lots of carbonation in here. The alcohol content hides itself rather well. I also enjoy the fact that this one isnít sweet. Iím not sure that I would proclaim this is the best beer in the world, its easy to call this an excellent IPA. Iím very happy to have tried this.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2015 12 oz bottle at home. Just a perfect IPA. Hoppy, without being intrusive. But hoppy nonetheless. Not boosy. Crisp. Extra sharp. Delicious. Substantial grapefruit notes. Balanced. Superb finish. I wish I had more. MUST HAVE MORE!!!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hops: Amarillo, Centennial, CTZ, and Simcoe.
07.18.14 bottle date.
Drank it freshy fresh on 07.23.14.
A: Red grapefruit and pine. Very hop forward.
A: 1/2 finger head that retains well. See through amber/gold body.
T: Grapefruit, pine, and hop resin dominate.
P: Creamy and crisp. Lots of carbonation.
O: With all the hype that surrounds this beer, I expected angels to come down and deliver this directly into my mouth once the cap was popped. Instead, a much harried and disheveled RR employee put it on a table surrounded by a maximum capacity crowd of bratty hipster wannabes. To cut to the chase, the beer itself was disappointing. It was good, but it wasnít as earth-shattering as the hype claimed it to be. Granted, it is an older IIPA, but there are better IIPAs now.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
[Bottle] Brilliant bright copper pour with about an inch of foamy white head. Big and fresh floral and citrus aromas. Grapefruit, biscuit, flowers, resin, black pepper and sharp bitterness in the flavor. Sticky mouthfeel. Well hidden alcohol. Fantastic balance. A very solid beer, and probably even better on tap I am guessing.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle pour split at home. Tried a couple times, about time I rate this. Much thanks to Tyler for sharing. Pours a cloudy yellowish color with an oily fizz head. Big pine and hops aroma. Initial bitter flavor but balances well with the sweetness. Ton of hops. Long lasting palate of cool pine, slight mint, and bitter hops. Overall a solid IPA, though itís no secret. Wouldnít call it one of the very best, but this really is a special IPA, Good stuff.
