4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pliny is a truly divine beer. It is at once hoppy and floral, malty, fruity and solid with a good rich palate. One of the best Iíve reviewed- not much else to say. Itís hoppy and a little bitter, but itís much more sophistocated and balanced than youíd expect from an IPA. If you see this for sale, do yourself a favor and buy it. You wonít be disappointed.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Second day in a row at the Monkís Kettle in San Francisco. Great aroma, reminiscent of Arrogant Bastard, but slightly less upfront. Great beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the source. Lovely orange Reddish hue, nice foamy white head. Aroma of caramel, pine, alcohol. A benchmark for the style but notes of spearmint.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle dated 5/11/16 straight from the brewery. Pours a very clear gold color. Amazing that there are a ton of hops in this and itís this clear. The hops are quite the star here but has a very malty backbone that just shines. Love it!!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, 500ml. Consumed fresh (7 weeks after bottling). Clear golden with a frothy offwhite head. Aromas of fruity and floral hops, caramel, resin. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Medium sweet, heavy bitterness. Deep roasted and hoppy character into a stinging bitter finish. Legendary beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fruity, hoppy aroma, fresh squeezed grapefruits, orange peal. Cristal clear, super lacing. Taste super dry, fresh, juicy, hoppy. Pleasant crisp bitterness in the back. No sweetness at all. Super nice long aftertaste. No wonder this beer is legendary, years ago it was probably mind blowing. Now itís íjustí awesome.

Bottle, thanks to Misterburd! Clear golden yellow with large off-white foamy head, floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, delicious sweetish balanced hops taste, smooth body, long flavorful hoppy finish. This is as good as it gets for a DIPA!
