Smell is deep dry fruit with a slight vinegar and citrus. Pours dark and consistent brown-black. Taste starts slightly sweet. At very first it seems like just another porter then quickly the sour builds. Prunes and vinigar top off with grapefruit which lingers at the end. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ RR. Lovely balance of roast, wood, sour and wine, without excess acidity.

Draft at City Beer. Dark brown color with a lazy lasting tan head. Aroma is damp hay, roast, wood, and tart unripe blackberry. The flavor is very balanced, medium tart, somewhat bitter. Medium body with a smooth yet carbonated feel. Pretty damn good for an infected porter.

On tap at Russian River Brewing in Santa Rosa, CA-USA. Dark brown pour almost black with caramel highlights, decent ivory head. Nose: red wine, wood, completely vinous (the barrel has taken over the Porter aroma). Mouth: again vinous, roast is far away, the beer is tasty tough. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Russian River Brewing, Santa Rosa, California (20.04.2016)
Kwaśny leżakowany porter. Leżakowany był przez 12 miesięcy w beczkach po winie. Następnie został z nich przelany i nagazowany. W smaku jest niesamicie dziki, kwaśny, wiejski. Czuć nuty strzejącego się czerwonego wina oraz ciemne owoce. W tle delikate nuty czekolady, trochę końskiego siodła, stajni, brettów. Minimum kawy i kwaśny, szlachetny finisz. Piwo jest wytrawne i ma dość lekkie ciało. Kwaśność umirkowana. Cholernie przyjemny trunek! 7% alk. 14 BLG

Draft at Toronado-San Francisco, served in a stemmed glass. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small beige head that settles into a ring. Notes of toasted and roasted malts, mild sour fruits (plum, berries), vanilla, oak, leaves, leather, and toffee. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sour, toasty, mildy bitter mouthfeel. Good sour; unlike any other Russian River sours I’ve had.
