3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. A hazy, golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is mostly fruity, with some pale malts. Dry on the palate, medium body and a nice carbonation. Not the most exciting flavor, typical Belgian blond ale, but less sugary than most of them. Decent bitterness. Medium body. An easy drinkable one, and quite refreshing. 130806

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Monks. Batch 10. Hazy amber pour with a soft foamy white head. For such a simple style this is really well done. Surprisingly full body. Fizzy. Meyer lemon. Pineapple rind. Clementine. Shortbread. Lychee. Macadamia. Persimmon. Salted butter. Muscats. Green banana. Apricot fuzz. Ginger. Bamboo. Lemongrass. Only a hint of sour. Subtle yeasty notes off the top, wide range of amber fruit in the middle and just a bit of a spicy kick in the finish. Great stuff!!!

Very drinkable and smooth, but not much else to it. It’s a solid beer to drink a lot of though.
