4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: APR 17, 2013 On tap at Russian River. Orange pour with a white head. Aroma is awesome. Resinous, piney, all simcoe. You can showcase the hops all you want, but if the base beer isnít good youíre sunk. I think Russian riverís strong point is they make really good base beer. This one was fantastic.

Growler. Thanks j! Pours a crystal clear dark amber with a loose creamy white head. Big garlic and ammonia nose, but in a very appealing way. Piney too. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, garlic and pine mid palate with a long toasty resiny finish. Really nice.

Beautiful deep gold with a frothy white head. Pine forrest aroma - amazing! Pine notes carry over into the flavor with a sumptuous resiny character. Body is moderate - just right for a quenching pale ale. Wonderful beer.
