3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft @ Russian River. Pours a murky, pulpy golden color; white head with attractive lacing. Soft almonds, dough, and a lightly acidic lemon note in the nose. Medium body; medium-high carbonation; reasonably lively, rounder-bodied saison (particularly at this ABV) with plenty of douginess, a light vanilla warmness, and white pepper throughout. A reasonable, rounded, creamier saison that feels heftier that its ABV. Toasty, with light mineral bitterness in the finish. Seems to strike a profile similar to Redemption and Erudition.
