Garlic and vegetative note are very prominent in this brew. Herbal notes {YES THAT HERB} with a touch of anise. Some mild white fruit. Hops are spicy and resinous on the palate. Astringent finish.

Draft. Rich reddish amber beer with a ncie off-white head. Great peach/tangerine aroma thatís slightly sweet. Peach, tangerine, grapefruit flavor with lighte resins and sweet malt backing. Lots of lingering hops. Best of the Summit IPAs Iíve had so far.

On tap @ Russian River poured a clear copper with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of orange, carmel, lemon and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of orange, carmel, pine and a hint of mint with a dry lingering bitter finish.

Despite nearly having to chug this as Soren began to squirm and do the arching of the back in the stroller bit there was nothing in this that could be close to elusive. It gives it all in the first sip but then keeps coming on strong. As I was unfamiliar with Summit I later had the ear of Humulone_Red that helped explain that this hop manages to come on strong but not harsh (my words, not his - he was very factual, Iím taking it down to the street and kicking it into the gutter). Another winner from Russian River and dying for another ...

Tasted on tap at the Drakes 1st Annual Beer Festival and Washoes Tournament. This IPA pours a deep orange gold from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy, herbal and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy, herbal and floral. Light to medium bitterness IPA. Nice carbonation. Lots of aromatic hops. Nice dry finish. Very smooth taste. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
