A so so IIPA. Aroma was very weak for the style. Slight grassiness with notes of caramel, Kind of weak. Pour was a beautiful thick murky dark medium brown in the middle with lighter caramel colors around the sides. Looks like there’s sediment in there it’s so thick. Lovely. Taste was OK. Not very hoppy in the beginning, this beer starts out with sweet caramel. Mid swallow is where the hops come in. Nice strong bitter grapefruit and burnt caramel take over and make the mouth left bitter and dry. Good carbonation for the style. Average beer.

Bomber. Pours a deep orange that borders on brown with a decent sized head that leaves lots of foam on the sides of the glass. Aromas are a little resiny with oranges and caramel, but they are a little understated. Flavor is better... it’s got some nice caramel sweetness with a decent amount of citrusy fruit and some resin in the finish. It’s a little on the sweet side, but the hops are nicely balanced.

Sample at the Big Tap In on 04/21/2012. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops and malt. Medium to full body with a moderately bitter hops character that is offset by sweet caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a short bitter aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at vintage estates. Mild IPA aroma. Orange and clear. Big creamy head. Quite IPA rude, just like a double should be. Big and bitter all the way down, mouthcoating soapy and oily. Much alky volatile fumes in the mouth and up the nose. Some slight co2 in there considering hopw strong this stuff is. If you like IPA, try this, I’m a humanistic rater who don’t care for IPA in general. It was there so I tasted it.
