Rustic Rail Honey Ale

When this was poured as a sample for me, the head was big and it went down very sweet. I thought maybe it was just me and I ordered it anyway. But when it came back in a glass my first sips were again sweet and overly malted. There wasn’t a faintest bit of hops in the beer. and i was really dissapointed.

On tap at the Rustic Rail Brewhouse, this beer pours a clear pale golden blonde brew with a light white head that dissolves quickly with no lacing. This actually has some scent. Light malt, faint hops, and a touch of clover honey. Taste is slightly carbonated, light bodied, with a slight white bread taste. Finish has some floweryh hops but slightly sweet.
