2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at the brewery - this is more like a belgian ale, really (an overspiced one) - very strong phenols (clove, pepper) and intense banana esters - there is also a light hint of metal and chlorine way in the back - not pleasant - some peach on melon - sugary and spicy finish - meh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Rustic Road Brewpub. Hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy with wheat, noble hops and some lemon. Taste of mild bananas, nuts, bready malt, wheat and spices. Spicy lemony finish. Decent.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I love banana esters and this beer is packed full of them. A little citrus. Some spiciness, the brewer says it is from the grains of paradise. If you don’t like banana, this is not the beer for you. Otherwise, a great beer for a hot day like today.

This one is definitely not traditional, a banana bomb with some lemon attributes, it is decent though. Super pale in color.
