Radek Kliber (6324) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUN 30, 2008
Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Light haze on pale amber, medium bright top.
Nose: Light nutty - honey character with sweet malts in aroma. gentle dry alcohol on top.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Sweet lager but that trait was put in check. Light fruit notes were recorded as well. This Czech Mocne was lighter and crisper than northern brothers. alcohol was well covered and blended. Neat strong lager.

bottle from Pivni Galerie. Golden yellow, medium-size head. Bitter-sweet aroma of malt and hops. Full-bodied, quite malty and fruity with hints of alcohol. More hoppy in the finish which gives the beer a typical bitter-sweet character.

(Bottle, thanks Gnoff) Pours light amber. Sweet honey like, light fruity aroma with with some hints of pears, apples and apricot. Some funky saaz undertones in the nose. Sugary, and a bit marizipa-ish sweet flavour with a funky, almost alcoholy bittrerness. Tiny fruity. Medium, malty body.

Bottle, thanks Pivnizub! Golden, nice off-white foamy head. Fruity/phenolic malt aroma with a herbal edge. Sweet earthy and somewhat alcoholic malt base. Aromatic dry finish, a good portion of green hops hide the fruity sweet aftertaste. Surprisingly lightbodied though. mhh too rich to be a pale lager really...

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2006
(bottle from pivnizub - thanks !) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy, slightly off-white head. Malty and somewhat spicy aroma with shy but aromatic hops. Soft sweet flavour, malty, slightly toasted taste, medium body, almost crispy carbonation; sweetbitter malty finish with a warming, well-integrated alcoholic note and a dense hoppy touch. Pleasant to drink.
