Tap @ Pivnice Hostina, Helsinki. Poured clear golden with a creamy white head. Sweet malty, slightly bready aroma. Flavor is caramel, dark fruits and bread. Hint of alcohol in finish, but not in a disturbing way. Medium to full bodied, decent bitterness. For a strong lager, this was a nice brew.

Bottle. Pours clear slightly darker golden color with nice lasting white head. Aroma is malt with a hint of some caramel and licorice. Flavor is malt, hint of alcohol and hops, a bit stale. Sweet aftertaste.

Draught at Zly Casy. Big malty aroma with honey and alcohol. Strong, sweet flaovr, with honey, rich cereals, alcohol. tries to be balanced but in the end it is unexceptional. Too sweet and heavy, rather syrupy.

Bottled 500ml. -Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, malty nose. Sweet malty, slight herbal hoppy and atypical strong alcoholic taste. Some bready notes in the finish. All in all this one has the potential.

Golden color and a hoppy aroma, good bitter light sweet taste in a medium body and abitter finish.

Bottle (from Pivni Galerie): Golden coloured, smaller fluffy off-white head, slowly diminishing to a thin, stable foamy layer; sweet (pale-) malty nose with a tinge of honey and some hoppiness, traces of alcohol detectable; mainly sweet-malty flavour with a shy bitterness; longer, first sweetish finish, becoming dryer and aromatic-hoppy later. Well rounded, easily drinkable Special. Pleasant........

bottle at ekstrabladet julebryg event. clear yellow, small white head. aroma is malty, caramelly, slightly flowery, strong lager, nice. flavor is malty, slightly syruppy, flowery, good hoppy balance, sweet and bitter - a bit too sweet and thus a little cloying.
