Aug 30, 2008 50cl bottle @ Løvbjerg, Odense. Label says 10,5 %. Pours dark amber with a small creamy white head & lacings. Aroma is of sweet malts, caramel, sugar & a bit of dark fruits & alcohol. Smooth , sticky & oily palate. Sweet malty & bready taste with hints of hops & alcohol. Alcohol well hidden. A pleasant, uncomplicated & well made Barley Wine!

Pours orange brown with a small, creamy, film head. Aroma is sweet malty, lots of rye bread and some slight dried fruits. Okay mouthfeel, starts oily, then turns into something sligtly watery. Flavour is sweet at first, very malty and quite a heavy hopping. It is okay, but I do expect a bit more from a 10,5 % beer.

Taste: quite young alcohol pushes through from first sip. After then sticky banana,dried fruits and hops. I want try this same again few years ahead,please!

Nut brown-amber color, small beige head. Toffeish-caramelly aroma. Toffeish fudge flavor with oaky hops. Sticky. Some alcohol, feels a bit lighter than its announced 10,5 %.
