ChristianScheffel (2014), Odense, Denmark May 6, 2008 Hazy orange with a lasting off-white head. Weak malty aroma and some yeast. Dry malt flavour, a licorice note and some spicy yeast.
dunkpigen (253), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a little brownish head. Sweet malty aroma and flavour with pruins, raisins and spices. Ole_R (1127), Oslo, Norway Jun 13, 2008 500ml bottle as Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel, provided by Beer_2000, thanks mate! Murky brown, nice little tanned head. Bubblegum and Belgo-yeast up front, light sweet, light toasted malts to follow. Taste is inviting, has an appropriate sweetness from dark malts and dark dried fruits and a mild and gentle hopbitterness. Well-bodied. Some acidity in the finish. I really like this one. skortila (2359), Bunnik, Netherlands May 26, 2008 Bottled. Tasting @ Kolding Bryglaug. (As Børglum Kloster Abbedens Dubbel) Fruity aroma of caramel and raisin malts. Cloudy, orange coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet and caramel malty with dried fruitiness. Nice. caesar (2453), Zeist, Netherlands May 22, 2008 Bottle @ thewolf-and-his-flock-of-sheep tasting session. Hazy reddish brown color, short head. Aroma of cup-a-soup chinese tomato. Slightly malty taste. Weird to find this in a double. Dedollewaitor (1825), Odense, Denmark May 21, 2008 Bottle@TheWolf, tasting. Pours deep amber with a orange hew & creamy white head. Lots of yeast, dried fruits & caramel. Good mouthfeel - creamy & smooth. Well made "danish" dubbel!
