Muddy amber with a lasting off-white head. Bubblegum and fruit in the aroma. Belgian yeast beats the barleywine malt and hop profile. Rather sweet with some alcohol showing, and a note of wood.

Jun 26, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Alcoholic aroma. Clear dark red colour. Sweet flavour, not as alcoholic as the aroma. Not bad.

Jun 22, 2008 Bottle. Low fluffy off-white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy dark orange body. Vineous caramel hops aroma. Vineous alcohol caramel flavor. Good balance between malt and alcohol percentage. Low carbonation. Long bitter sweet aftertaste.

Hazy dark amber color, no head. Very light caramel aroma. Round and strong body, strong caramel flavor, sweet enough, bitter enough, but really monodimensional English Strong Ale.

May 23, 2008 Bottle at Aarhus Ølfestival 2008. Clear amber colour with a small off white head. Rich aroma and taste of nuts, malts and caramel. Ok barley wine.
