Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 12, 2007 Draft. A hazy amber beer with an OK light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of spices, wheat, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty and quite spicy - coriander being quite strong, but the alcohol is also tastable, besides that it gives the palate a slight bite, before the dry and slighlty bitter finish sets in. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 15, 2007 Updated: Jun 27, 2007Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Almost clear golden. Weihenstephaner style yeasty banana aroma. Soft, very sweet and rather yeasty. Like a weizenbock, but even sweeter, with notes of pineapples. Sugary finish. Intense and warming, but much too sweet for me. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 17, 2007 (On tap) Slightly hazy, deep golden with a small, white head. Distinct aroma of yeast and almonds. Quite full-bodied with sweetish fruit notes and some yeastiness. A warming alcohol in the finish. 110507 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 30, 2007 CBF07 sample from tap. Pours clear golden.
