Nice sweet and hoppy body. Nice beer. yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway May 10, 2008 Bottle, from trade with papsoe. It looks nice in the glass, with a copper body, some yeast clouds and a nice, dense off-white, borderline beige, head. Alcohol start on the aroma, but in a gentle, more or less pleasant way. It’s followed by a nice fruity sweetness, caramel, some orange and spices. There’s some note of salty licorice as well. It’s almost full-bodied, quite sweetish in the mouth. Fruits, white sugar, warming alcohol, orange, spice notes and some caramel. Quite long finish with sugar, fruits and caramel, as well as a spicy hoppyness. Yet another goodie from Søkildegaard, really pleasant to drink. (080510) Jukkabro (2307), Tampere, Finland May 7, 2008 Dark amber colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Lots of particles of yeast in glass. Spices dominate in this lemony aroma with some yeast, hops and licorice. Medium bodied. Flavor has even stronger licorice with yeast and spices, decent Belgian brew. High carbonation. Aftertaste has still this licorice and some sour-bitter hops and berries. Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark May 6, 2008 Cloudy orange, amber colour with a beige head. Malty, caramel sweet with a light buttery note and hints of the hops.
