Malty nose with dark bread, wort, caramel and a touch of raisins. Slightly roasted. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, caramel, toasted grain, brown sugar and a touch of dried fruit in the finish. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Rather sweet with low bitterness, short finish. Nothing exceptional, but a fairly tasty and decent dark lager. rosenbergh (1074), Helsinki, Finland

Made the misstake in 2007 and shared a 24-pack of these on a Rock Cruise. It actually does’nt taste that bad. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel (quite like a average english ale), some bread too. Flavour is pretty much the same though I think there’s too much of a alcohol kick at the end. I like it more when being on the cruise, but that was probably cause I had a few stronger belgian and english beers at the bar before these... fonefan (12484), VestJylland, Denmark
