Gold with very thin head. Malt and hops are balanced, but there is nothing special here. More flavor than a macro-lager, but meh.

Pours watery gold. soft malt nose. slight ly sweet flavour. Soft palette, short finish. Unremarkable.

Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste sweet then very slight hops bitterness. Thin body. Not much to talk about.

Backlog juli 2009 Saigon, bottle at resturant. Light color, body & complexity. Not impressive, unbalanced

Everything you’d expect with the SEA pales with those rice and corn characteristics, this one is more quaffable than average. Drink as cold as possible!

33cl can at Gourmet Garden in Hoi An. Pours light golden with a white head. Lightly fruity and malty with a hint of metal. Sweet and lightly malty with a slightly bitter finish. Pretty light, but slightly more bitter than other Vietnamese pale lagers. Drinkable. (2012-05-09)

Picked up a bottle while in Seta, Japan. Pours out clear light yellow topped with a small white head. Aroma O wow who would have guessed they also have skunks in Vietnam. Some sweetness after the skunk. Tatse is not to bad light corn, sweetness, and not much else going on.

330ml can brought home by my parents (from a world cruise) along with a few other goodies. Poured into a Konig-Pilsner glass on 13th May 2012. Looked like any other lager/pilsner style beer: golden bright, clean and clear with a white head of tight bubbles. No smell and semi-sweet in taste; different to what I expected: easy to drink and just what I needed after cutting the grass and doing some ironing.

can. Poured clear straw coloured with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma. Average carbonation, light mouthfeel. Flavour is grainy sourish malt, cornish. Finish is sticky, bland.

The shittiest of the few beers from Sabeco I believe. Green and Red Saigon have just a bit more flavor. Watery, ricey, get it if there’s nothing else to get in whatever random Vietnamese town you’re in...
