Commercial Description:
Awarded a Silver Medal in the World Beer Championships in the Amber Ale category for 1998, this is our flagship ale. It has a nutty malt flavor which is balanced by a citris hop flavor and a classic ale fruitiness. We distribute this ale on draft and in bottles throughout Northern & Central New York.

(12oz bottle) Clear amber body with large off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, biscuit, floral. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, cookie, biscuit/toast, light floral/earthy. Light-medium body.

Slightly hazy light amber. smallish white head. Grainy malt nose, minimal toastiness, mostly apple flavors. Faint earthy hops procure an easy drinking floral dryness that pairs along decently with the very grainy malt backbone. Moderate carbonation, light bodied.

Light yellow body, with a little head that dissipated rapidly. Aroma was fresh, but not too distinct of grassy/hops. There was little taste to this beer. Light body, some grassy notes mainly, slight tinge of sweetness on the palate with a hint of hops at the finish. Nothin special here.

(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub. Oddly less alcoholic than the "light beer"??? Fully-dissipating, white head with a copper body. Malty yet with some banana tones. Very bland.
