Pours light golden orange, a nice head, with some good lace. Lightly fruity and yeasty up front followed by a solid citrus/floral bitterness that lingers for a while. A little pepper too. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 17, 2009 On tap. Hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly tart aroma with a whiff of Brett (hardly intentional!). Medium body with strange fruity accents and some bonbon notes. Has a distinct lactid tartness that clearly indicates an infection. Dry and somewhat astringent finish. Neither Abbey Ale nor IPA - just gone terribly awry. 130709 yespr (12105), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Ends with a mild citric note and light bitterness. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and yeast, but also an acidic edge. The flavor is very acidic with notes of grapefruit - clearly off, leading to a tart finish. Gypsy19 (626), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Tap into growler into glass at home. Pours a cloudy medium to dark orange with a medium fluffy head that quickly reduces to a thick lacing. Aroma is very fruity, with a little perfume and spoiled garbage. Aroma works out pretty good though. Flavor is a little off; I didn’t expect the rotten dumpster to show up in the flavor. Still mildly hoppy and quite fruity flavorwise. I don’t think that the Belgian yeast is working out in this experiment. Commendations for trying though. Mouthfeel is medium viscosity, medium carbonation. Not bad overall, but SBC has had better efforts. I don’t see this one sticking around forever... Overall, good minus. bhensonb (4263), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Pours amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma of light fruit. Near full bodied with sharpish carbonation. Flavor is fruit and floral over caramel with a little spice. Decently bitter finish. HighWine (164), , California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Amber color and head that laces well. Nose is very faint hops. Taste is hoppy bitter held up by a little malt. No detection of the Belgian yeast in this one. A milder version of the regular IPA.
