BDR (1862), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Nov 22, 2007 Cloudy gold color with faint hoppy nose. Sweet with very faint hop character. GABF2007 marcus (966), Sacramento, California, USA Oct 1, 2007 On tap at the brewery. This mid amber ale poured with a nice off-white head. It is nitrogenated and slightly carbonated. There is a rich dry-hopped flavor with a slightly bitter finish. bhensonb (2832), Woodland, California, USA Sep 26, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Aromas of roasted malt and apple? fruit. Very dark amber color with a minimal beige head. Medium bodied with near creamy carbonation. The flavor is an astringent roasted malt with mixed light and dark fruit flavors. There seems to be a deal of floral hop. The finish is neither sweet nor dry, and the floral hop seems to add a hint of bitter. Leaves the mouth refreshed.
