COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saddlebock Pale Ale embodies the best of British and American brewing traditions. From its rich golden color to its deliciously malty flavor, with a distinctive floral hops note, this is a pleasant and understated beer that is the perfect complement to your favorite foods – and the perfect beer to enjoy year round. While you’ll love it ice cold in a frosty mug – the rich flavor and velvety texture is even more flavorful at a slightly warmer temperature.

Keg @ Saddlebock. Deep gold with a creamy white head. Plenty of biscuit slathered in a bit of marmalade and apple spread. Pale malt body. Little in the way of hop character. More apple and toasted white bread. Crisp carb. Slightly chalky. An APA with training wheels.

On tap at the brewery in Springdale, AR. Pours a cloudy, glowing golden-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grassy florals with some citruses and a grainy, pale malt backing. Touches of toasty bread and a bit of an herbal spice. Flavor is similar. Grassy citruses with some florals and a light herbal spice. Grainy pale malts with a hint of bread before this finishes dry, moderately bitter, and balanced. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty basic pale ale. Well balanced and easy drinking with a decent hopping. Not bad.
