COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special.
Dr.Hardwicke’s Double IPA 8.5%. Brewed with huge amounts of 3 varieties of American Hops, added continuously over a 85 minute boil and then dry hopped in the fermenter and cask. What better way to enjoy soring that with a pint of 8.5% Double IPA :)

Cask at Windsor Castle, Lye. Golden, with cream top. Smells real good. It’s a sweet beast to be sure, but the warming, thick, genuinely rich hop flavour comes through and asserts itself. Booming. Some plastic dryness meshed in the finish, but this is excellent.

Cask at The Windsor Lye following the very pleasant brewery tour. Hops hit you full on with a trace of grapefruit. Slightly cloudy. Quite stunning and very powerful. Thank goodness my wife was driving! Probably the best version of a style that I think of as being pure American despite the name. A must try.

Cask at Windsor Castle; Drink No.5 in #no9twissup, kindly provided by Chris after our excellent brewery tour, dark amber pour with off white head, really sweet hoppy aroma, sweet taste loads of American hops going on, well balanced malts, really like this look forward to bottles.
