A powerful India pale ale, brewed with American Amarillo and Citra hops. A balanced malt sweetness supports the epic hop aroma and flavour explosion.

Bottle. Fruit and citrus hops. Quite dry towards the end. Would probably be better on cask.

Pours a pale golden colour with fairly robust white foamy head which settles but lingers throughout.Aroma is grassy, citrus, cereal, sweet malt and slightly soapy. Taste is nicely balanced sweet and bitter, a very nice drinkable beer, slightly wtery but overall pretty nice.

500 ml bottle at home from B&M. Served cold in a tulip. Gold with a rocky white head. Cat pee and grapefruit aroma. Citric hop flavour, juicy tropical fruit, hint of green herbal flavours. Light bodied, bitter sweet, sharp and refreshing with a pleasantly astringent finish. £1.39p a bottle, an absolute bargain.

Burnley Beer Festival 2015. A very lightly pale golden coloured ale. Hoppy, but not overly so given its name. There’s some sweet malts in here too and a fair amount of sugar.

Cask at Lord Moon of the Mall. Citrusey, malty base gives way to big hit of hops, hints of resin and a dry bitter finish. Lovely.

Dégustée en fut dans un pub anglais, la bière présente une fine mousse blanche avec une robe typique des IPA. En bouche on découvre une légère amertume qui s’estompe progressivement pour laisser place aux notes florales. Elle se boit tiède. NS

Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on the 28th June 2015. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Strong hoppy aroma with notes of elderflower cordial long in intensity. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Thin pale malt base gives juicy fruit notes of kiwi, honeydew melon and mango. Citrus flavours intensify into the hoppy aftertaste giving a dry bite. Finish is hoppy with resins evident in the mouth, giving dry grapefruit peel notes. Easy to drink despite the high ABV.
