Dégustée en fut dans un pub anglais, la bière présente une fine mousse blanche avec une robe typique des IPA. En bouche on découvre une légère amertume qui s’estompe progressivement pour laisser place aux notes florales. Elle se boit tiède. NS

Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on the 28th June 2015. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Strong hoppy aroma with notes of elderflower cordial long in intensity. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Thin pale malt base gives juicy fruit notes of kiwi, honeydew melon and mango. Citrus flavours intensify into the hoppy aftertaste giving a dry bite. Finish is hoppy with resins evident in the mouth, giving dry grapefruit peel notes. Easy to drink despite the high ABV.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours Pale yellow to gold. Clear, single finger white head. Aroma of Lemon, Orange, Satsuma, Melon, touch of banana. Light malt taste then it’s a boxing match between all the fruit flavours! Lovely!

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 26 Apr 2012. Poured a lightly hazy, mid golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of grapefruit, Citra hops and straw. Citrus hop flavours, with tropical fruits and biscuit. Finish was resin, lemon zest and dry grain.

Cask at The City Arms JDW, Earlsdon, Coventry. Poured a light golden amber with a white thin head that left lacing on the glass, immediate hoppy aroma, malty biscuit notes and a hint of citrus lemongrass. Pleasant and hoppy although not on a par with the likes of a Jarl !

Pale colour with a good sized white head. Medium body. No strong aroma, but some orange pushes through in what would otherwise be a typical English IPA. Very good bitter finish, making this a decent pint.
