Share with Bish. Who knows? Both the beer and an answer to the question. I’m in no rush to return to either. Great chat with Gurd about hardcore though.

Blended into the background at the Vic. Me and the beer. I don’t get the Vic, what are you supposed to do there?

Cask at Windsor Castle; Drink No.3 in #no9twissup, this is one of the palest ales I’ve had clear straw yellow with a thin white head, glorious citrus hop aroma, the taste has a big Citra hit, Chris the brewer told our party that since changing hop to Citra it is the beer he wanted it to be, I can only agree, the is a beautifully crafted low ABV session beer. The stand out beer from the day for most on the day.

Light and springy beer. Citra all the way. Tastes Bigger than you’d expect from a 3.8%. I could easily sip a few of these in a session.

Cask conditioned at The Lychgate, Wolverhampton. Gold with white head. Light and pretty hoppy beer, drying with a late bitterness, citrus notes, good and refreshing. Enjoyed this in a great new pub.

17th Feb 2012: The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire. Hand pulled pint. Light golden body with a thin white covering of foam on top. The nose was all about citrus hop aromas with nothing else getting a look in. The taste is mostly those same citrus flavoured hops but with a more floral and fruity presence from the first sip: becoming drier and bitter as the flavours die away. Nicely put together brew, refreshing and easy to drink.

Sometime appears on handpull at the Canal Side Cafe. Very well kept here & an enjoyable beer! Not too pale in appearance & is more of a Golden Ale than say a Wye Valley HPA

Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, 11.04.12 at award for local pub of the year Pours light gold with a white head. Fruity, crisp and refreshing with a wonderful zestiness throughout, tangy and hoppy, the Citra hops are pure heaven in this beer, another one of those stunning sub 4% beers. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are caramel and biscuit with woody notes.  Fruity with mellow lemon.  Spicy with floral notes.  Flavours are crisp and grassy with bittersweet lemon.  Dry and hoppy to finish. Very tasty for its strength.  Good.

On cask @ the congress, longton. Pours golden with white head. Lively citrus and very fresh. Not that keen on golden ale usually but this is very refreshing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
