Cask at The Albion, Ampthill. Lots of nettles in the herby aroma, but also a little buttery, which, because of the lightness of the beer, persists throughout. Brite, lemon/straw colour. Thin white lacing head. Very very little carbonation.Very easy drinking. Loved the nettley character but a little too much diacetyl for me.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - pale golden to lemon. Decent head. Nose - creamy lemon and gentle herbs. . Taste - tangy lemon like crystallised in fact. Palate - light to medium bodied with a disproportionately big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - slightly one dimensional but a really well nailed dimension. Big considering the low ABV.

On cask at Rising Sun, Abbeydale - hazy yellow body, thin white topper. Nose is fruity and citrus hops, very promising, with a bit of cereal undertone. Taste is sharp, bitter, but lacking the fruits of the aroma. Medium bodied. Not too bad.

Fra cask pŚ The Blackfriar, Blackfriars 28 Sep 14. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum. Beskjeden fruktaroma. Smaken har et lite preg av aprikos.

Cask. Light hazy yellow with a medium sized good lacing white head. Lots of citrus and flowery hops, light grany malt notes. Light/medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, little sweetness, light/medium bitter. Long dry hoppy finish. Clean and tasty, thirst quenching.

JDW, Southampton. Fruity citric hit with some toffee smudge. Inclining toward bitter. Initially very fresh, juicy and exciting, the bitterness gradually intensifies, and some greasiness creeps in.

HP Last Post. Pours slight pale yellow haze. Quickly disappearing foam head. First impression is little brother to their excellent Hop Bomb. Perhaps Amarillo and Citra giving fab hop hit and closest thing to Jarl I have had. Could be bit "green" but after a dull Hobgoblin this is indeed a very pleasant experience. Time for a second!
