Cask at Windsor Castle during the RateBeer Black Country Bus Bash. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy head. Dry dough and straw in the aroma. Light sweet flavor with more doughy malts and light floral notes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Clean finish with mild bitterness and lightly dried dough sweetness. Simple and good.

Cask @ The Windsor Castle during the RB Black Country Bash. The pourís amber with a tiny white head. The nose is brown bread slathered in jam. General caramel. Mild flavors of cocoa. Nutella-covered bread. Some plum. A fairly muted set of complimentary flavors. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, anything to break up the monotony of drinking golden ale after golden ale.

Cask gravity at Kent BF 2013. Not sure itís supposed to taste like this. Muddy earthy bitter. Hmm. Not good.

Cask at the King Charles,Worcester. Clear amber colour, large white head that disasters to bubbles quick. Very little aroma, a little lemon and can detect a little sweet malt. Taste gas lemony honey sweetness, lingers for a bit before the bitterness comes through. Slight marmalade. Doesnít do much aroma wise but Iím enjoying the flavour thatís there.

BlackHaddock (4009) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2013
Hand-pulled half-pint in the Brewery Tap during the RB Black Country Bus trip on 6th July 2013. Yet another golden/amber coloured Bitter with an off-white head: at least it didnít smell of Toilet Duck or any Lemon flavoured liquid. The nose and taste were floral more than fruity and the malts gave everything a semi-sweet feel. Subtle flavours more than in your face: OK, but lacked oomph! The finish was dry and getting bitter but not enough to get excited about. A standard UK Bitter really.
