Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear dark chesnut brown with a reddish hue and a bubbly white head. The aroma is red berry fruit yeast hop and burnt toffee. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a weak bodied liqourice palate.

Cask at the Winsor Lye following a very pleasant brewery tour. This was beer number 2 following the wonderful double IPA. This was a virtually impossible act to follow. However this is still a very pleasant beer. Reddish bronze appearance with a hoppy flavour with some citrus in the background. Another very pleasant beer from this very pleasant brewery who own a pleasant pub.

Good American hop hit. Red in colour ! It works. Unbalanced hops and a subtle sweetness.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2013
Scrawled in coloured pencil on Motherís Day flyer, The Baron, 22/01/13. Pale ruby capped with cream. Redcurrant, dab of G+T, grenadine, almond, some cakey malt. Slightly perfumed with oliy hop cone hints. Distinct Black Country sulphur on nose. Imbalanced bitterness, boozy Belgian impressions. Finally nutty. OK, but disappointing considering the qulaity of Sadlerís hoppier output.

Cask conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton 29/08/12. A reddy brown coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A powerful fruity hoppy aromoa with sweet malts. Hoppy sweet and chewy in the mouth. Tastes pretty good but does epitomise the good and bad points of the US amber type beer.
