Clear red/amber beer with a thick frothy head. Smells of fruity hops and caramel. Passion fruit, citrus and the caramel again make for a nicely balanced flavour. Bitter, zesty hop aftertaste. Given the relative strength itís too drinkable!

500ml bottle from B&M Bargains - Reddy amber body, good white head, laces all the way down. Nose has a sharp citrus to it, some sweetness, and a little bit of acidity. Good full body on this one, makes all the bitterness a bit syrupy and leaves with a sweetness. I really like this one, and given it was just over a quid a bottle - no arguments from me.

Bottle shared at the Cadís 10th Anniversary Tasting - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to whomever brought this one! Pours clear red-gold with a foamy, off-white head. Pretty simple gear. Sugary, with doughy and bready malts predominating, accented by ripe orange. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more sugary, bready malts. OK.

Lovely aroma and appearance let down down slightly by the taste it smells and tastes of boozy cocktail cherryís quite hoppy decent enough beer if only it tasted as good as it smells.

Bottle from Saucy Pears. Appearance - deep toffee rather than red. Some red chinks. Nose - toffee, biscuits. Taste - more of the same. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - more of a bitter than a red ipa. Deep in flavour but a touch sweet.
