Appearance: Clear golden/amber with finger thick white head. Aroma: Biscuit, lemon, orange, slight savoury note, peppery, malty and hint of caramel. Taste: Low sweetness, with medium bitter and sourness. Slight metallic taste. Palate: Thin smooth texture, light body, prickly carbonation, abrupt citrus malty finish. Comments: Tasty and left a glass lace.

Bottle, from Home Bargains, Scunthorpe. Gold, fluffy and lasting white head and good condition. Sweet and slightly honeyed with a little caramel in the nose, quite soft in the mouth with a gentle chalky hop bitterness and a dominant sweet honey note, muted chalky sweet finish

(Bottle) Sour fruit aroma, very pale golden beer with a frothy head. Flavour is a hit of burnt caramel and citrus-y hop. A hint of orange and I think a bit of malt in the aftertaste. I think the slight fizz adds a bit of artificial bitterness to it but itís not bad.

Light sweet flavor with mild bitter hay and further citrus notes. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Clean finish with further bitter hay, some dry lemon. Fine.

Donít know if I got an odd bottle but this certainly wasnít very pale, but quite a reddish copper colour. Tastes ok, though. Decent malt backbone, a little sweetness and a moderate bitter finish. Perhaps a touch soapy, but decent overall.

Cask at The Old Black Bull, Preston. Pours very pale yellow, one of the palest beers Iíve seen, with a thin white head. Orange and lemon aromas, and some sugar sweetness. Good bitterness, thin texture, light body, nice bitter finish. Easy drinking hoppy stuff.
