Bottle shared by deanso, thanks! Clear dark golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is creamy, some grains, vague malts and generally pretty Brittish. Flavor is sweet malty and smooth bitter English hops. Quite mild and a bit grainy.

500 ml bottle from B&M, served cellar cool in a 1/2 pint chalice. Dark gold with a white head fading to a skim. Light caramel and wine aroma, cereal and grassy hop flavour, some Demerara sugar malt flavour as well. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Nice unpretentious English bitter.

Bottle from B&M Stockton. Pours amber with a frothy white head. Slight malt aroma. Biscuity malt flavour at first before a dcent slightly citrus finish. Nice enough without being anything out of the ordinary.

(Bottle) Lively, clear golden beer with a frothy head and an almost non-existent aroma. Taste is light and floral with a slightly sour, fruity edge and a faint sweet hop aftertaste. If it was just a bit stronger-tasting itíd probably be one Iíd return to when buying bottles.

Poured a clear golden brown with a thick white head and broken lace. The aroma is rich and with hints of citrus. The flavour is bitter and fruity with treacle and toffee notes too. The bitterness hits the palate and stays there for a while for a more refreshing flavour. A very satisfying and flavour packed session beer.
