2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The draft sample poured a hazy light amber colored beverage with a small, creamy white head that was mostly diminishing and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was balanced with light hop notes of grapefruit and malt notes of honey and toasted grain. There was also a hint of pineapple in the background. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a dry, somewhat astringent texture. The flavor started out moderately bitter and finished the same way. The finish was average in length and was tart and had a dry, hoppy character to it accompanied by a light alcohol warmth.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 30, 2013 Dark gold color, almost orange. Very nice sweet nose, hoppy smelling, similar to their IPA but more dubdued. Mandarin oranges and tangerine scents, with a pulp-like juicy orange flavor. Moderately thick, similar to Mac & Jacks African Amber.
