12 ounce bottle. Hazy yellow gold color with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is light lemony malt with a metallic note. Dryish grainy malt flavor with a zesty refreshing light citrus hop balance. Fairly light in body but rather tasty. Nice retro-style label.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a average whtie head. Aroma is sweet malt and not much else. Flavor is again a sweet lagerish malt with a little bitterness. It’s a no frills blonde ale.

Bottle to pint (thanks tmoney99). Looks solid; a semi-transparent orange with white lacing. Smells semi-sweet, bitter, and a little doughy. Tastes like it smells, but not as good. Average (at best) on the palate. Tick tock.

Bottle. Poured clear amber color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good soft drinkable brew.

12 oz. from Julio’s. Used a lager glass. Pours golden with a thick, white head that diminished slowly. Generic malt and hop nose. Clean and crisp golden ale. Pretty standard, true to style.

Light, malty, a bit thin, and perhaps somewhat skunky. Nuts, yeast, with a fair body in the finish. Not terrible, but the individual qualities are a bit lacking.

Serving: Draft. Slight dough and fruit in a nondescript nose. The flavor is lightly bitter with slight apple notes, light dough, and light floral. A bit flabby on the tongue, but certainly drinkable.

Not a bad beer at all. A great summer refresher. Clear gold with a more hop definition than most lawnmower beer.
