Bottle @ home. [ Courtesy chris_o ].
Light unclear light yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, wheat, moderate hoppy, citrus shell, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Bitternes is strange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (130508)

Bottle, thansk to chris_o. Golden ale with low carboantion. Fruity aroma, smooth beer with some apricots and a hint of sourness in the finish. Full body.

Cask at the Elmdon Dial, Elmdon, Essex. Saffron only began brewing in April 2006. This, their Golden Ale, has good colour and a white head. In other respects it’s not up to standard, with little aroma, taste or bitterness. Limp and watery, I’m afraid.
