Orange colour, overall an unimpressive IPA, weak hoppy aroma and taste, some bitterness at the end

Hazy deep golden to amber color with an off-white head. Pretty weak aroma with stale and slightly dusty hops. Flavor has light malt sweetness and some hops bitter, slightly stale. Medium-bodied.

Bottle 33cl kindly shared by Calisky, a clear golden beer with low head. Nose is on orange and light resin. Aroma is on caramel, sweet, lot of resin, pine touch, correct body, fresh apricot touch, the best of the serie.

Hermod (3307) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 7, 2014
33cl bottle, bbe 03/16. Euro local swap 6. Thanks teddybeer! Deep amber, hazy, thick white head. Sweet fruity, yeasty, malty aroma. Flavor has malt, tropical fruits, like papaya and citrus with some caramel. Long sweet, but quite crisp finish. Quaffable. Like a mix between new and old world IPA. Hint of metal. Tasty.

Rune (8173) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2014
A 330ml bottle with a black neck bought at Vinoteca Millésimée, Palma de Mallorca. Tiny bubbly layer to a clear amber body. Sweet smell of dried fruits and brown malts. Likewise, the taste is made up by apricot and caramel sweetness. Not enough bittersweet citrus to the finish to keep all the sweetness at bay. Hints of alcohol. Tasty, but much too sweet in the long run (shared with Finn, Tromsø 16.07.2014).

Flaske 330ml. Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham på Nerstranda 16 Jul 14. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig kritthvitt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Bra fruktig aroma. Smaken er søt frukt. Aprikos. Avslutter litt bittert - men blir mer søt enn bitter.

Bottle picked up at Hipacor (El Corte Ingles) at Santander, Asturias, Spain, Saturday 28th June 2014, consumed at home, Thursday 10th July 2014 Pours warm gold, filmy white head. A little hop burn, soft buzziness, good, in fact really good with a zip, zappy hoppiness through, damn good and surprised me. Aroma ain’t great, but the beer is good, really bloody good.
