COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Just another thing to love about Toledo! This crafted red ale is a fresh and flavorful brew, features a variety of complex fruity hop and malty notes in the flavor, along with some toastiness in the background. This particular bottle seemed to have some yeasty tartness, but was a positive addition. Average aroma of toasted caramel malt, also some dark fruit, reminiscent of a dopplebock. The appearance was particularly impressive, a glowing red ember color with white head. Medium bodied, soft on the palate. Not stellar, but certainly a quality beer. Recommended overall.
