Rich ruby body, sandy white head. Big malty nose, sugary and curranty. Initial dry, toasted bitter taste. Middle of more malt without anywhere near the level of sweetness I was hoping. Cereal dust sweetness to the finish. Surprisingly leggy without being that sweet.
Was made to look like a prick for ordering this when everyone was supping litres of Sagres for the same price. Not really worth it.

Bottle, random bar on Riberia Square, Porto

One of my favorite mass production beer in Portugal. Good colour, nice taste and almost no head. A simple but rather everyday beer, specially for those rainy days.

33cl bottle. Dark brown colour with a good formation but quickly diminishes tan head, any way, nice lacework on the glass. Aroma is fruity and slightly toasty. Flavour is moderate toasted malts, citrus hints are also present, slightly bready on palate, with a final caramelized and sweet. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium. Texture is slightly creamy.

Bottle. Mine had the word "reserva" in it too but the ABV matches. Pours dark copper with large medium to long lasting off white head. Dark bread and fruity lemonade with distinct raisiny crystal malt character in aroma. Caramel taste with bitter finish and some metalic in aftertaste. Light body.

0.33L bottle from El Corte Inglés, Lisboa, as Sagres Bohemia Reserva 1835. A finger of coarse sand-colored foam, over a crystal clear brownish red body. Smell of sweet malt drops, and faint metallic hops. Taste is sweet bon-bon malty. Some pepper tones, and a barely noticable bitterness. Light-bodied for a 6.6 percenter. Finishes as it starts, sweetish malt drops.

Coca cola color. Lots of sweet malt, not much else. A hint of hops, but far from enough. The Portugese beer revoultion seems far away.
